Share some Scottish heritage in the post! Our set of four printed postcards come with QR codes which will link to the relevant archive video clip when scanned with a smart device. A great alternative birthday card for archive fans! Also available in sets of six.
Archive clips:
- Up Helly Aa: the procession and burning of the galley at the 1972 viking themed fire festival.
- Cairding and Spinning: a knitwear class from the late 1960s.
- Regatta: the 1975 Walls "peerie" sailing regatta.
- Casting Peats: peat being cut with a traditional tushkar (1970s).
We’re happy to supply a custom set of four (e.g. four of the same design) and you can also mix and match with our festive postcards which link to Christmas clips from the 1960s:
- Christmas on Papa Stour #1 - decorations and candles.
- Christmas on Papa Stour #2 - men guizing (in costumes) at New Year.
- Christmas on Papa Stour #3 - decorating the tree.
- Christmas on Papa Stour #4 - building a snow man.
